How I Went From Fat to Fit in 3 Months (No BS)
How I Went From Fat to Fit in 3 Months (No BS)
I’m not a fitness influencer. I don’t sell protein powder. I’m just a regular guy who got tired of feeling like crap.
Three months ago, I was overweight, out of breath walking up stairs, and honestly just sick of making excuses. I didn't follow some 10-step program or hire a coach. I just started — and stayed consistent.
Here’s how it went.
Month 1: Reality Check
The first week sucked. Cutting out junk food felt like losing a best friend. I used to eat late, snack all the time, and my meals were basically carbs on carbs.
So I went simple:
-
Eggs in the morning
-
Chicken, rice, and veggies for lunch and dinner
-
No sugar
-
Water only — no soda, no alcohol
I also forced myself to move more. I started walking 30–60 minutes a day and doing push-ups at home. I couldn’t even do 10 at first. But I did them anyway.
By the end of the first month, I’d lost around 5kg (11 lbs). I felt lighter — not just physically, but mentally too.
Month 2: No Turning Back
At this point, I was in a rhythm. I joined a cheap gym near my place and started going 3–4 times a week. Nothing crazy, just lifting weights and some cardio.
Meal prep became a lifesaver. Chicken, beef, rice, broccoli, sweet potatoes — rinse and repeat. Boring? Kinda. Effective? Hell yeah.
The cool part? I stopped craving junk. Fast food didn’t even look good anymore. I felt way more in control, and that felt better than any cheat meal ever did.
By the end of month two, I was down about 11kg (24 lbs) total.
Month 3: It Became Who I Am
This is when things really started to change. People noticed. Clothes fit better. I didn’t hide behind baggy shirts anymore.
I started sleeping better, thinking clearer, and actually wanting to work out. I wasn’t doing this just to lose weight anymore — I was doing it because I liked how it made me feel.
By the 90-day mark, I’d lost just over 15kg (33 lbs). More importantly, I felt like a new version of myself.
If You’re Thinking About Starting…
Just start. Don’t wait for Monday. Don’t wait for some perfect plan. I didn’t know what I was doing, but I figured it out as I went.
You’ll mess up. You’ll skip workouts. You’ll eat something you shouldn’t. But if you keep showing up — even at 70% — you’ll get there.
Three months changed my life. It can change yours too.
